PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Here is a list of hotels which have an agreement with Università di Milano-Bicocca. To obtain the "reduced" fees, you should mention the agreement in your booking
and the name of the Conference.
However, there is no guarantee that these rates are the lowest rates available in that period (they could vary, for example, depending from the duration of your stay, or
by the choice, by the hotel, to make some Special promotion, etc.). So, you are warmly invited to do some independent research of the hotels which best fit your taste.
Obviously, since tastes vary a lot among individuals, we are not in a position to suggest "good" hotels. The Internet
is plenty of information about accomodations. A very useful resource is: www.turismo.milano.it

From the Torino-Venezia motorway, take the "Milano-Viale Zara" exit and head towards the city centre (centro).
Pass the sign indicating the Town limit (Comune di Milano) roughly where you can see the "StarTourist" Hotel on your left.
Take Viale Sarca (first street parallel, on your left, to the one you are on). After about 1 km going along Viale Sarca you will reach the university campus. There are adequate parking facilities available for students and visitors.
The campus is made of different multi-storeyed buildings linked by streets and squares.
Surface and underground parking areas make it easy to drive to the campus area. In May 2006, the University of Milano – Bicocca launched the pioneer “Eco-Bus Bicocca” service as part of a project to encourage environmentally-friendly transit services propelled by hybrid-fuel vehicles.
Staff and students are commuted free of charge within the campus. There are also free bus rides between 7:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. between the ‘Sesto Marelli’ subway/railway station and the campus with a timetable tailored to reduce waiting time to a minimum.
